BTS ARIRANG Concert: What to Bring, What to Wear, and the Rules
On this page
The most common mistake this tour: bringing an older ARMY Bomb and expecting it to light up with the show. HYBE says that since the Busan concert on June 12, 2026, wireless control works only on the Ver. 4.
What to bring: the ARIRANG checklist
- Your ticket, in the app. Santiago tickets live in the Quentro app, and screenshots are not accepted, per the DG Medios guide reported by CNN Chile. São Paulo online tickets are digital only.
- Photo ID. Santiago tickets are name-based: bring a physical ID card, passport or DNI, or Chile's digital ID with a scannable QR code (photos and photocopies don't count). Kaohsiung uses real-name tickets checked against the original photo ID, per Live Nation Taiwan.
- ARMY Bomb Ver. 4 with three new AAA alkaline batteries, plus a spare set. HYBE's Latin America notices say low batteries make the light fade and can stop wireless control. Setup help: how to connect your ARMY Bomb.
- Charged phone and a small power bank. Check the limit: the Santiago guide lists 10,000 mAh in CNN Chile's report (Cooperativa reported 20,000 mAh, so stay at 10,000 to be safe).
- One small bag within the venue limit (table below), plus a foldable tote that fits inside it. HYBE's merch booths don't hand out shopping bags.
- Card and some local cash. HYBE booths take cash and cards in local currency, and warn that some cards may be declined.
- An empty plastic water bottle where allowed: up to 500 ml in Santiago; non-glass and emptied before entry in Singapore.
- Sun and comfort items: non-aerosol sunscreen (100 ml max in Santiago), a hand fan, and a seat cushion where permitted.
- A fan sign within size limits: up to 28 x 43 cm with no stick in Santiago; no bigger than A3 in Singapore.
What not to bring to a BTS concert
These items appear on the published lists for Santiago (DG Medios) and Singapore (National Stadium):
- Professional cameras, GoPros, tablets and laptops; selfie sticks, tripods, monopods and gimbals
- Outside food and drinks; glass or metal bottles; alcohol
- Aerosols, lighters, cigarettes and vapes (Singapore says vapes and cameras get you denied entry)
- Chairs, stools and anything with wheels
- Laser pointers and fireworks; helmets (Santiago); air horns and whistles (Singapore)
- Signs on poles, oversized fan boards, and banners with offensive or political messages
- Non-collapsible umbrellas (Singapore); gifts and flowers (Singapore)
BTS concert bag policy by venue
| Venue (2026 dates) | Bag rule | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Estadio Nacional, Santiago (Oct. 14, 16, 17) | One bag per person, up to 30 x 60 cm | DG Medios guide, via CNN Chile and Cooperativa |
| Estadio Único, La Plata (Oct. 21, 23, 24) | Not published on the ticketing page yet | All Access |
| MorumBIS, São Paulo (Oct. 28, 30, 31) | BTS list not out yet; Live Nation's Stray Kids list at MorumBIS (2025) capped bags at 30 x 15 x 20 cm | Terra; Billboard Brasil |
| Kaohsiung National Stadium (Nov. 19, 21, 22) | Not published yet; real-name ID check | Live Nation Taiwan |
| Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta (Dec.) | Not found yet | - |
| National Stadium, Singapore (Dec. 17, 19, 20, 22) | No bags over 35 x 20 x 30 cm (must fit under a seat) | The Kallang event page |
For US fans: there are no US dates left in 2026. At the ARIRANG shows at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas in May, the stadium's clear-bag policy applied: one clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bag up to 12 x 6 x 12 inches, plus a small clutch up to 4.5 x 6.5 x 2 inches. Backpacks, including BTS merch backpacks, had to go to bag check. None of the remaining international venues lists a clear-bag requirement on the pages we checked.
BTS concert camera and recording rules
- Singapore: no professional cameras of any kind (digital, video, Polaroid or film), no GoPros, iPads or tablets, no zoom lenses, and no live streaming.
- Santiago: non-professional cameras are allowed; professional cameras, GoPros, tablets, tripods and selfie sticks are not.
- Las Vegas (May): non-professional still cameras with lenses under 6 inches were allowed; video recording and live streaming were prohibited.
- HYBE's own rule: BTS's fan club etiquette notice on Weverse bans bringing recording devices other than phones into venues, and using phones to record where recording isn't allowed. Anyone caught may be asked to delete the footage and be removed.
Light sticks, signs and fan projects
- Official light sticks only. The Santiago guide allows "official light sticks," and Las Vegas allowed "BTS Official light sticks and batteries."
- Only the Ver. 4 syncs. HYBE's Lima and Santiago notices say the Ver. 4 is controlled automatically once it's on, with no seat pairing needed, while Ver. 3 and SE "do not support wireless control." Specs and prices: ARMY Bomb Ver. 4 guide.
- São Paulo banners: Live Nation Brasil told Billboard Brasil that individual banners are not banned, but fan-club projects will not be authorized and no materials can be handed out inside the stadium.
Age limits, ID and show times
| City | Age rule | Times (local) |
|---|---|---|
| Santiago | No entry under 6; ages 6-15 need a responsible adult (max 3 minors per adult) | Park entry 2 p.m., stadium doors 4:30 p.m., show 8 p.m. (7 p.m. ET) |
| São Paulo | Rated 16; ages 5-15 only with parents or legal guardians | Gates 4 p.m., show 8 p.m. (7 p.m. ET); one entry only, no re-entry |
| Singapore | No infants in arms or children under 3; everyone 3+ needs a ticket | Show 7 p.m. (6 a.m. ET) |
DG Medios also says camping in the Santiago stadium park isn't allowed. All remaining dates are on our ARIRANG tour dates page, and the running order is in the ARIRANG setlist.
What to wear to a BTS concert
- Comfortable shoes. Expect long lines, security checks and hours on your feet, especially on the floor.
- Layers. Show days run from afternoon entry to late at night. The Santiago guide notes the stadium is open-air and recommends sunscreen and staying hydrated.
- A plan for rain. Umbrella rules vary: Santiago allows a small one, Singapore bans non-collapsible ones, and Live Nation's past MorumBIS lists banned umbrellas. A poncho is the safe pick.
- Pockets or a small crossbody that fits the bag rule, so your phone and ID stay on you.
- Know the effects. The Santiago guide lists lasers, smoke, flames, pyrotechnics and strobe lights, which matters if you're light-sensitive.
BTS concert outfit ideas (colors)
There is no official dress code. At the Seoul comeback concert in March, CNN reported that fans added "pops of purple, the symbolic color of BTS and their fanbase," and one fan said she wore red and white "because the album is red and white." Before that show, Korea JoongAng Daily reported fans shopping for hanbok-inspired looks, with accessories like norigae tassels and daenggi hair ribbons.
Merch booth rules
From HYBE's on-site sales notices for the Latin America shows:
- Payment is cash or card in local currency (Chilean pesos in Santiago); some cards may be declined.
- No refunds or exchanges if you change your mind; defective items can be exchanged with a receipt.
- No overnight lines. Staff may ask lines to disperse at night.
- Booths inside the stadium serve that day's ticket holders only and may close from one hour before doors open, and during the concert.
